In the 1980s and 1990s Demi Moore was one of the most popular and highest-earning actresses in Hollywood. She got her big break playing Jules in the 1985 hit movie ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’, and proceeded to star in successes like ‘Ghost’, ‘A Few Good Men’ and ‘Disclosure’. Moore, who was married to Bruce Willis – with whom she has three daughters - from 1987 until 2000, was an A-list celebrity.

Her status died down, however, after starring in relatively banal and unsuccessful movies. She stepped out of the Hollywoodscene, choosing instead to raise her three daughters away from the lime light. After years away from the hustle and bustle of the celebrity metropolis, Moore decided it was time for a comeback.

She got the part of Madison Lee, a sexy villain in the Charlie’s Angels sequel, and underwent an excruciating and expensive process to turn back time. She reportedly spent more than $350,000 on cosmetic surgery, which included the following:

• Liposuction to hips, thighs and stomach
• Brow lift
• Breast lift and breast implants
• Chemical facial peel
• Fixing her teeth
• Collagen injections
• Having fat removed from her knees, and
• Worked out excessively (her bill for her exclusive fitness coaches reached over $200,000)

Moore absolutely nailed her part in the movie, looking as sexy as ever walking out of the water with a surfboard under her arm.Many claimed she even manage to completely upstage her much younger co-stars Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore. She was also nominated twice by MTV as ‘Sexiest Villain’.

But she not only managed to land a searing comeback, she also landed a younger man. Moore began dating Hollywood hunk and comedy actor Ashton Kutcher – 15 years her junior. The pair married in 2005 and continues to be happy together.

Yet Moore isn’t completely satisfied.  According to her, Hollywood doesn’t write scripts that include interesting and captivating roles for women over the age of forty – she says the only role a woman her age can play nowadays is that of a mother.

Regardless, Demi Moore has managed what not many have been able to do – she achieved a Hollywood comeback over the age of forty – albeit with a nip and tuck here and there.
