Dick Cheney hospitalized with chest pains

Former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney was hospitalized on Monday after complaining of chest pains. According to The Washington Post, Cheney is currently hospitalized at George Washington University Hospital, where doctors claim he is in a stable condition.
FOX reports that while doctors have ruled out a heart attack, they are currently still assessing the situation. Dick Cheney has a long history of heart problems, including four heart attacks, the first of which occurred when he was 37 years old.
In addition to the heart attacks, Cheney has also had eight heart-related “instances”, including a surgery to replace his pacemaker.
The 69-year-old has also had multiple bypass surgeries, FOX reports.
Cheney may receive further treatment on Tuesday, but “we don’t know what the plan is,” one doctor told NBC News.
Dick Cheney served as secretary of defense under George Bush Sr., and as vice president under George W. Bush.
Other celebrities who have had heart problems include Robin Williams, Jennie Garth, Elizabeth Taylor,Larry King and Bill Clinton.
