Jennifer Hudson, the 2004 American Idol contestant showed up at a charity event flaunting her new slim figure. According to www.dailymail.co.uk, the highly acclaimed singer and Oscar-winning actress revealed that she wants to reach out to her fans and give out a message to maintain a workout regimen.
After losing several dress sizes, she has acquired American size 6 from an earlier 16. She revealed that this svelte figure has come as a result of following the Weight Watchers diet and working out at least three times a week.
As reported by www.beforeitsnews.com, Jennifer Hudson is the spokesperson for Weight Watchers. She explains: “It’s not a diet, it’s really a way of living that teaches you better skills.
“For years I felt like I could never have ice cream, but I can eat ice cream occasionally now!”
The singer attributes her transformation to the birth of her son, which inspired her to shape up. She said he “makes me feel like the most special person on earth”.
Celebrities who have battled weight issues include Sharon Osbourne, Oprah Winfrey, Kirstie Alley and Sara Rue.
