Kelsey Grammer’s girlfriend has miscarriage

Kayte Walsh, girlfriend of Kelsey Grammer has tragically lost their unborn child. The popular actor, 55, made the announcement last night.

The couple wanted to wait until Walsh, 29, was able to come to terms with the loss, amid reports on www.people.com she had miscarried six weeks prior to the announcement.

Their statement read, “We could like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we
 publicly acknowledged our loss.”

Walsh revealed she was pregnant in August and the child would have been their first together. Grammer has four other children from his three previous marriages.

Grammer is best known for his role as the eponymous character in the TV series Frasier, which follows the life of a mildly neurotic and pretentious radio psychologist.

Fans have sent condolences via Twitter and Facebook.

Grammer has also hinted on his Twitter site that a spin-off show might be in the pipeline centred around Frasier and Niles’ children with cameo’s from Frasier and Cheers characters.
