Michael Douglas has 80 percent chance of beating cancer

Michael Douglas made a sovereign appearance on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ last night and spoke openly about his surprising and unexpected cancer diagnosis. Michael claims his throat has been bothering him all summer, but a myriad of doctors and tests brought negative results, until one doctor took a biopsy.

Diagnosed with throat cancer only three weeks ago, Michael has already complete one week of radiation and chemotherapy. Doctors reportedly found it was Stage 4 cancer, which Michael describes as “intense, and so they’ve had to go at it.”

Michael is set to undergo a strenuous 8 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. And while he has a lot ahead of him, David Letterman was quick to compliment Michael on looking good.

“You’ve never looked better to me, and this proves that you’re a tough guy, for God’s sakes,” the Huffington Post quotes David as saying.

Michael explained the prospects of him beating the disease are quite good.

“The percentages are very good,” he said. “I would hate to say, but right now, it looks like it should be 80%, and with certain hospitals and everything, it does improve.”

But like many cancer victims, Michael is scared it will spread. At the moment the cancer is still contained, and is located about the throat, which makes his prognosis so good.

Michael has also admitted his long-time drinking and smoking habits are possibly to blame for his cancer.

    Michael you can beat this with your faith. I recently had a lump on my breast larger than a golf ball and I began to pray for healing cause according to the word of God, by his stripes we are healed. God is not a man that he should lie so I prayed for me healing ad other believers also prayed for it. Everyday I thanked God for my healing 6 weeks later I was called in for 2nd mammogram and they took several views of both breasts and couldn’t find anything. God can do anything but fail if we would just believe. I am praying for your healing, You are an awesome actor and humanitarian. This is all for God to get the Glory out of your life!!
