Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher to split? SNORE

Apparently, Demi Moore recently tweeted that an implication that she had had a row with her husband and is now trying to get over it. But, as celebrity rumour mills go, someone quickly decided this was enough to start saying that this may be a sure sign that the couple are splitting up.
Now, I don’t know about everyone else, but when I’ve been in a long relationship, occasional fights were normal. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (who is 15 years her junior) have been together for around 8 years. I’d say it was worrying if there WEREN’T any fights or wobbles to report.
This is all People magazine have to justify their hard-hitting headline: On Sept. 23, Moore shared a quote from Greek philosopher Epictetus, writing, “When we are offended at any man’s fault, turn to yourself & study your own failings. Then you will forget your anger.”
What part of that statement says “I’m splitting up with my husband”?? What it looks like to me is an attempt to resolve any conflict and move on. But apparently OTHER rumours have also been floating around - for example that 33-year-old Kutcher has been doing the dirty on Moore, who is 48 and does not look it.
The pair also spent their sixth wedding anniversary – Sept. 24 – apart and have both curbed their prolific tweeting, says People. “Kutcher allegedly arrived in San Diego on Sept. 23 for a weekend of partying with his former That ’70s Show costar Danny Masterson. Among their stops: Fluxx nightclub, where they had a VIP table. The actor also refrained from tweeting anything on his wedding anniversary.”
Well ok, maybe they’re going through a rough patch. It’s hardly a shocker, given they’ve been together so long. But actually, it was pretty stupid of her to tweet anything so suggestive in the first place. She is a bit of an attention-seeker. Remember all those weird, sexy photos she posted of herself on Twitter, clearly to prove that age has not got the better of her.
Anyway, Moore has been in New York City to promote the short film she directed as part of Lifetime’s TV anthology, Five. The actress attended the premier along with Jennifer Aniston, who also directed a short, on Monday night.
Neither actor’s rep has commented.
