The Bachelorette’s Ali Fedotowsky spends first Christmas with new beau

The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowky is spending her first Christmas with fiancée Roberto Martinez.
After a turbulent year, the former singleton is settling down for some festive cheer with her new love, an insurance agent whom she met on the hit show.
Ali initially rose to fame after starring on The Bachelor and famously withdrawing from the show, wreaking havoc with fans and her own nerves. At the time she was one of four women left, fighting for the attention of pilot Jake Pavelta.
“I was like, ‘I don’t have love. This sucks,’ ” she tells People. “I bought a really expensive pair of boots that cost as much as my rent to make me feel better.”
But everything was soon to change for the Facebook employee when she was offered another opportunity to find the love of her life – as the star of The Bachelorette.
“Last year I was filling a void with boots, and this year I have Roberto,” says Ali, who’s excited that the couple will celebrate their first Christmas together, according to People.
Ali, 25, picked 26-year-old Roberto over landscaper Chris Lambton on the show. The pair promptly got engaged and moved in together. The San Diego pad is reportedly decked out with all her favourite things:
“It’s decorated with silver and red balls and little fairies,” she reveals. “I love this collection from Hallmark and every year they come out with a new fairy and I put them on the tree.”
The cooing husband-to-be adds: “I want to do a major league baseball theme. No, whatever makes her happy is fine with me.”
Merry Christmas to them!
Other celebs who have recently got engaged include singer Jessica Simpson, tennis star Maria Sharapova and Britain’s Prince William.
