Lindsay Lohan “worried” about Charlie Sheen

Lindsay Lohan has expressed her concern over Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen, who has finally decided to check himself into a rehab facility.

A source close to the actress told TMZ that Lohan is “worried” about Sheen’s recent drug-fuelled antics, which include locking the likes of porn star Capri Anderson into a closet and claiming his tantrums were nothing more than the result of an “allergic reaction”.

Lohan apparently said that Sheen’s most recent bender - lasting three days and involving more than a few stars of adult movies - showed “obvious signs of addiction” but claimed that she was confident the Two and a Half Men actor would get better soon now that he has sought professional help and is willing to fully commit himself to sobriety.

The source said that Lohan “understands the problem of having the wrong people around and wants Charlie to understand that he needs to surround himself with positive, sober people.”

Sheen, apparently voluntarily, checked himself into an undisclosed rehab unit on Friday 28 and his TV sitcom has been put on hold indefinitely while he seeks treatment.

TMZ cites a statement released by Two and a Half Men producers saying: “Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing “Two and a Half Men” on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.”

Sheen’s publicist told the news provider: “He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern.”

Yet this is somewhat contrary to a text message the star reportedly sent to US website Radar Online just before checking into the center, claiming that those who do not understand his wild lifestyle are merely “turds”.

The text message, according to The Sun, reads: “I’m fine. People don’t seem to get it. Guy can’t have a great time and do his job also? Bunch of turds.”

So, perhaps checking into rehab wasn’t altogether Sheen’s idea? And is Lohan a fool for believing her colleague is truly committed to sobriety? All will be revealed soon, we reckon.
